Lesley was born in Ireland, but moved to the UK to do a Media degree many, many years ago. She now lives in Wiltshire with her husband, two teenage daughters and cat. She loves music, coffee, Danish TV dramas, 80s films and charity shops.
Lesley writes contemporary YA fiction because she finds the teenage years particularly fascinating and memorable.
She’s an avid reader of all sorts of fiction, especially YA and children’s books. In fact, she’s been running creative literature workshops for children and teens over the last five years as part of her Pageturners project.
She’s now taking the brave (mad?) step of training to be a secondary school English teacher which, in her opinion, is one of the top three jobs in the whole world. The other two are being a published author or a guitarist in an indie rock band.
There is still time.
