Our very own Adrian Magson will be teaching a crime writing course in Castillon, SW France in April. Chez Castillon is situated in the centre of a typical small French town with shops, bars, restaurants and the River Dordogne all within a few minutes walk.

Crimefest: Where the pen is bloodier than the sword...
First organised in June 2008, Crimefest has quickly become one of the most popular and important dates in the crime fiction calendar.
The annual convention draws top crime novelists, readers, editors, publishers and reviewers from around the world and gives delegates the opportunity to celebrate the genre in an informal atmosphere.
Along side awards, dinners and workshops, Crimefest offers unpublished authors an 'in' with Pitch and Agent giving aspiring crime writers ten minutes slots to pitch their manuscripts to them. David Headley along with two other top agents will be there. Consider it speed dating for an agent!

David Headley is delighted to have been invited, once again, to the 32nd Winchester Writers’ Conference planned for the 22-24 June. David will be participating with one-to-ones and also talking about why agents are necessary in the publishing process.
