Polly Sharpe studied English Literature at the University of Exeter, then trained to teach secondary school English before working in PR for big brands in London, writing novels on the tube and running marathons in quite good times.
Her blog, Right Royal Mother compares ‘ordinary’ motherhood to that of the Duchess of Cambridge’s and is shortlisted for Best New Blog out of 8,000 in the 2016 MADs, the UK’s biggest parenting blog awards.
Polly lives in a Hampshire village, works in a secondary school and is married to an American. She has two very small children the same ages as George and Charlotte and a greedy Labrador called Bear. When she’s not writing, she is trying to keep everyone fed and thinking of royal puns that don’t focus too much on heir lines.
