David GoodmanAgent: Harry Illingworth
David is originally from Edinburgh and now lives in East Lothian, by the sea, with his wife and two cats. Sometimes he wanders along the shoreline early in the morning, muttering about spies and climate disaster into his dictaphone. He harbours dreams of being a full time shoreline mutterer.
For the moment though, he writes short stories and novels very early in the morning and designs IT management systems by day. He’s the founder of the Edinburgh Genre Writers critique workshop and heavily involved in Edinburgh SFF, a networking and workshop group for writers in and around central Scotland. Right now, he’s putting the finishing touches on The Burning Line, a spy novel set in the aftermath of climate collapse. When he’s not writing, he can be found being online too much or trying to counterbalance that by disappearing into the Highlands for a nice long walk. |
