Guy Caplin
Agent: Broo Doherty
Guy has spent all his adult life working in television. He is one of the few people to excel in both the artistic and technical sides of the medium. As a producer and director for ITV, he created a number of highly successful, top-rating programs. Away from production, he co-devised the Emmy award winning DEFT process, (Digital Electronic Film Transfer), first used on the Simpsons. He subsequently set up his own company, producing corporate videos.
Latterly, he was a cruise lecturer for both Cunard and P&O, entertaining passengers all over the world.
Shortly after he retired, he broke his foot and started writing a novel to pass the time.
Having written his first book, his daughter (the author Jules Wake) told him 'One book is no good. You need to write a series.' He has been writing seriously ever since.
