Jamie West

Jamie is a CWA Dagger shortlisted author who has a twenty years career in the theatre in London’s West End and has worked on far too many plays and musicals to mention here!

Jamie’s writing is inspired by a love of theatre history and murder mysteries. He has appeared at a number of literary festivals and podcasts to talk about writing and his criminal inspirations behind his books.

His Bertie Carroll series sets golden-age style crime in the world of 1930s theatreland and the second book in the series was shortlisted for the CWA Whodunnit Dagger.

He splits his time between working backstage in the theatre and his writing.
