Growing up Katy had always wanted to be an illustrator, or a journalist, but after getting an office job accidentally fell into a career in IT. After decades of feeling like a square-peg in a round hole Katy took a career break to study Children’s Book Illustration, but ended up writing her first novel instead, and never looked back.

Katy’s debut, Love, Rebooted was released in 2025, as an Audible Original, and was awarded the Joan Hessayon Prize for New Writing at the Romance Novels of the Year Awards, and was shortlisted for Romance Audiobook of the Year at the inaugural Speakies Awards. The second book in Katy’s ‘Debugging Love’ series, The Code of Love is coming soon, exclusively from Audible.

Katy lives in South London with her husband and describes herself as an over-caffeinated cat-butler to two noisy bengals.
