Lucy has always loved writing, from penning romantic fanfiction novels online as a child, to love poetry for her dates as a teenager. She took her creative side to TikTok, after dropping out of University, where she garnered over half a million followers. After landing collaborations with the BBC, Disney and ITV, she joined The Mail as their first Global TikTok Lead at only 22.
She is now a journalist and writer living in London and has written for The Times, The iPaper, Mail+ and more. She’s a weekly sex and lifestyle contributor for the iPaper, and is well-known for her popular Substack columns, Bad Example and Aunt Blanc, which explore complicated themes around love, sex and personal empowerment. She confronts taboos and naughtiness with honesty, humour and wit, alongside the hard-hitting truths that people sometimes shy away from. She lives with her girlfriend Cathrine, and Mainecoon Claudia, and is currently working on her first book.
