Michael's background is in television, creating and realising programmes with popular appeal. 

Formerly Head of Light Entertainment for BBC Television, he started his directing career on Not the Nine O’ Clock News, revolutionising British Saturday night primetime television and going on to win a BAFTA for producing, directing and creating Noel’s House Party.

Numerous subsequent production credits include conceiving and directing the opera series Lesley Garrett Tonight. Michale has held senior creative roles for several production companies and has worked as an Executive Producer for all of Britain’s major broadcasters.
