Transworld acquires three new novels by Andrea Mara

Transworld has acquired three new novels by Andrea Mara, whose first book with Transworld, All Her Fault, has been adapted for TV, with the first episode airing in the UK on 27th November and starring Sarah Snook, Dakota Fanning and Abby Elliott.

Finn Cotton, acting publishing director, bought world all-language rights to the three new titles from Diana Beaumont. The first novel in the new deal will be published in hardback, trade paperback, e-book and audio on Transworld’s Bantam imprint in Spring 2027.

Cotton said: "I’m delighted to be publishing three new books from the incredible Andrea Mara. She is an absolute joy to work with, and her unputdownable stories entertain and delight readers every year. I’m excited to see where we can take her brand over the coming years."

Mara said: "Working on six books so far with Transworld has been a fantastic experience and I’m so excited to have signed for three more. It is a privilege to be published by Finn and the wonderful team there and I can’t wait to see what’s ahead in the next few years."

Beaumont added: "In the five years since her first deal with Transworld was announced, Andrea has achieved phenomenal success, hitting the number one spot in the UK and Ireland on multiple occasions and bucking the trend in a challenging market. Working with Andrea, Finn and the rest of the incredible team has been a delight, and I look forward to building further on that success."

Such a Nice Girl, Mara’s latest book, publishes in May 2026. It tells the story of two mothers – who are best friends – discovering that their teenage daughters have both gone missing. They learn that one daughter is planning to kill the other, but whose child is the victim and whose is the killer? This "twisty, addictive" read is about motherhood, friendship and the lengths two women go to save their children.
