A passionate supporter of the Great British tradition of the Lido, Lorelei has recently been instrumental in raising the profile of the Peckham Lido, a once well-loved 50 metre outdoor swimming pool, which has lain dormant underground for the last 30 years.
With her passion in mind, Lorelei will be appearing at the National Lido Conference in Portishead on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th of September 2016 in order to raise awareness of them, and show her unfailing support.
The two-day conference has four themes:
1. Why do we swim in open air pools?
2. Capturing lido memories
3. Rejuvenating the love of lidos
4. Making open air swimming pools financially sustainanable
Additionally on the Saturday, there will be the opportunity to join a tour of the beautiful Portishead Open Air Pools.
