The Lancashire Evening Post gave a fantastic review for T. L. Mogford's recently-released The Plant Hunter last week:

"Extraordinary ... a visual, verbal and sensuous feast of reading delights."

If you have yet to get your hands on this gorgeous, sumptuous historical novel, set in 1860s London and China, you can order your copy here.

Joanna Toye was interviewed this week for My Weekly and their 'My Life In Books' feature:

Wedding Bells for the Victory Girls, Jo's new book, will be released at the end of the month, and the magazine also provided a fantastic review:

"Uplifting and full of warmth, this tale of friendship and love is another brilliant installment in this much loved historical fiction series."

The debut from Becca Day, The Girl Beyond the Gate, was published last week!

Welcome to Kensington Grove, the safest place to call home...

Jodie Madison can't think of a better place for a fresh start than the exclusive, gated community of The Grove. But from the moment she passes through the wrought iron gates, she starts to suspect she's made a mistake.

Despite her vow to keep apart from the other residents, Jodie can't help but feel drawn to her unnerving neighbour, Norah Williams, and terminally ill daughter, Lacey. Jodie knows she should stay away, but something draws her in.

When a murder shocks The Grove, Jodie vows to do everything in her power to save Lacey from her mother. But as more secrets emerge from Norah's shadowy past, Jodie is faced with the unthinkable - Norah's not so different to herself, and neither woman is innocent.

The past won't stay hidden forever. And The Grove will be an unforgiving witness.

The forthcoming novel from David Fennell, See No Evil, and the second in the DI Grace Archer series, has picked up some fantastic endorsements in the last week:

"David Fennell is a master of the macabre. See No Evil is a dark, twisted, crime thriller, that will keep readers hooked until the very last page. I can't wait for Detective Inspector Grace Archer's next chilling investigation."
Adam Hamdy

"Gripping and eye-poppingly gruesome. The next installment in David Fennell's DI Grace Archer series is hugely atmospheric and frighteningly inventive."
Victoria Selman

"It’s got everything you want in a pacy crime thriller - a police woman with a troubled past, an evil serial killer, a religious cult and more twists than a helter skelter"
Araminta Hall

The cover for Erin Green's new book, Sunny Stays at the Shetland Hotel (May 2022, Headline) was revealed last week:

New friendship is just a stay away...

Pippa has long felt like the odd one out in her family. Taking a job driving a mobile bakery van around Shetland's villages gives her a sense of freedom and purpose, but also makes her realise how much she wants to belong.

Natalia has recently returned to Lerwick hoping to reconnect with an old flame. But she's engulfed by loss and rejection when she hears that he's moved on, and Natalia's world is turned upside down.

Autumn is dedicated to her job in hospitality and relishes her role as general manager of Lerwick Manor's new hotel. No guest request is too big or too small, but her own unrelentingly high standards could push Autumn to her limits.

Will the beauty of Shetland help these three women find the friendship, support and healing that they all need?

The newly-released The Haven, from Amanda Jennings, has picked up two glorious quotes this week:

"An engrossing, immersive novel that swept me into the twisted utopia of Winterfall Farm. A dark delight that lingers long after the last page, I absolutely loved it."
Eve Chase

"An unsettling, captivating story."
