Calling all bookworms across the pond! The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle (US title) by Stuart Turton is a Target Book Club pick for May. Ragnar Jónasson's The Darkness was featured in the Sunday Times feature, 'The 100 Best Crime Novels Since 1945'. While we can totally believe it, no big deal and all that (insert ironic emoji) it's still rather exceptional and pride-inducing to see the first in the Hulda Hermansdóttir 'Hidden Iceland' series listed alongside the likes of Georges Simenon and Agatha Christie - and speaking of the Queen of Crime, if you love a Christie novel then you are 100% guaranteed to fall head over heels for any and all of Ragnar's books. We can't recommend them enough.
