Congratulations to Tom Hindle, whose debut novel, A Fatal Crossing, has won the Capital Crime Fingerprint Award for Historical Novel of the Year 2023. The reader-voted awards were presented at a ceremony last night (Thursday 31st August) at the Leonardo Royal Hotel, in the shadow of St Paul’s Cathedral. With over 2,000 votes cast, the winners saw stiff competition from authors such as Janice Hallett, M W Craven, Ruth Ware and Vaseem Khan. The shortlist was revealed back in July.
