Nicole Robinson

Nicole was born on the south coast of England in the early 90s and never quite left. Artistic expression has always played a major role in her life, so when she had the opportunity to shadow a freelance conceptual photographer at the age of 16, she leapt at the chance.

Nicole learned first-hand what it was like being on a photoshoot and how to look for beauty in places which, to some, may seem ordinary or even ugly. It also gave her the chance to see what it was like on both sides of the lens as a model and photographer.

Having this experience drove Nicole's creativity for training in theatrical and SFX makeup however, as she came to the end of her course, modelling had started to pick up and so became her main focus.

Looking back to how Nicole's career began, she sees her experiences as dominos: one paving the way for the next, a life she could have never foreseen when she was fourteen years old, experimenting with wild makeup looks in my bedroom wishing one day she could be good enough.
