Melissa Munro

A very warm welcome to Melissa Munro, who joins Emily Glenister’s list. Melissa is a Scottish writer of horror fiction living in Wales. She was longlisted for the Yeovil Literary Prize in 2024. She is currently working on her first novel, a folk horror set in North Wales.

Emma Orchard

Phillipa Ashley’s new book, A Wedding Under the Cornish Sky (Century) has been published. Additionally, Dutch rights to the three books in Phillipa’s ‘Cornish Cafe’ series, Summer; Christmas; and Confetti at the Cornish Cafe has sold to AW Bruna.

We were delighted to see Richard Swan’s The Infinite State (Orbit), given a coveted starred review in Publisher’s Weekly:
