Duckworth Books has acquired What Ails Her?: A History of Women’s Health by Mina Moriarty in a WEL deal negotiated by Abi Fellows. The book, scheduled for publication in spring 2027, is an exploration of how women of the past looked after their health, from periods, pregnancy and childbirth to beauty standards, mental health and pain management.
